Hola, 

We have officially landed in Costa Rica! This month, my team and I will be serving the people of Turrialba, Cartago, Costa Rica. We are partnering with a local church known as Comunidad Cristiana Nazareth. I am really excited to see how God moves this month! 

Costa Rica is exceptionally beautiful and the people here are very kind. I am trying to learn Spanish, however I still rely heavily on google translate ;). What really speaks to me is the love for coffee. Every morning and afternoon at 3:30 we drink coffee, I think I could get use to this :) 

Please continue to pray for my team and me. Specifically that we would be a blessing to those around us and that we would be salt and light in this community.

After a little hike… we made it to the proper bus station to get to Turrialba from San Jose. 

This is my new friend Judith!  On my birthday, she went to the market and bought us the most amazing coconut popsicles for a special treat! 

When we landed in San Jose, we stayed in the cutest hostel for one night with our entire squad (20 gals=)

I am looking forward to a great month here in Costa Rica… more to come!
